We sincerely express our deep sympathy for those who were affected by the giant typhoon No. 19 (Hagibis).
While we are collecting information about the damage, we currently do not have plans to conduct any relief actions based on JVC’s criteria for emergency assistance in Japan.
If you are willing to volunteer for or donate to any assistance activities for those affected by this typhoon, we recommend you to visit the website of Japan NGO Center for International Cooperation (JANIC), a network of NGOs to which JVC is also affiliated. It gives you information about the emergency assistance provided by various Japanese NGOs, guidelines for the evacuation in case of disasters, and other multilingual information for foreign residents and tourists.
Many disasters have attacked Japan this year. Our staff members will individually participate in voluntary work in the disaster areas and hope to support the people in reconstructing their life.
