内戦・治安
パキスタン政府と武装勢力の停戦合意を受けて、NATOが国境地帯の警戒を強める一方[2]、米政府やアフガニスタン政府も懸念を表明[3]。
治安状況は、カブール近辺のガズニも含め[4]、目だった改善は見られず。米軍は新規の大規模収容所を計画中[5]。
一方、カブールの治安維持権限のアフガニスタン国軍への移譲は8月に開始との公式発表[6]。
民生・援助
UNAMAがアフガニスタンにおけるUN関連機関の援助活動につきブリーフィング[7]。
庶民生活の苦しい状況は変わらず[8]。
