Announcement of the reopening of the JVC Tokyo office from June 8th

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections, we have temporarily closed our Tokyo office until May 31st. On May 25th, the Japanese Government lifted the emergency declaration and the number of newly infected persons has been decreasing. Considering these situations, we have decided to reopen our office from June 8th by combining it with our remote working system.

You can make donations and shop on our website as usual, but it may take time for the following procedures due to the limited manpower:

  • Dispatching of documents or goods from JVC such as the issuance of receipt and materials.
  • Response to postal mail or FAX to JVC such as those regarding invoice and applications.

We apologize for any inconvenience and ask for your kind understanding.

Inquiry by phone

We accept inquiries by phone on the following days and time:

Day: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Time: 12:00-15:00

In case of urgent inquiry, please ask individual staff by e-mail or send a message to info@ngo-jvc.net.

Temporarily stop accepting volunteers

We will not be accepting volunteers at our office until the end of June. We will announce on our website when we resume accepting volunteers.

Events in the future

We have started some online events. Please visit our Japanese website for more details. We are planning to have face-to-face events in the future by taking into account the changes in the infection situation. We also plan to have online orientations in the near future.

We apologize for any inconvenience due to the limited manpower and ask for your kind understanding. Although the emergency declaration has been lifted, you may still feel anxious about the infections. Please stay healthy.
